In this short post, I’m going to show you some of the best Shopify themes you can use right now. I’m going to focus on a few of the most popular ecommerce sectors: clothing, dropshipping, jewelry, fashion and print-on-demand.
But it’s worth remembering that every theme I’m about to mention can be easily adapted for any kind of ecommerce niche, so even if your store doesn’t fit these categories exactly, stick around — you’ll still get a lot of theme inspiration.
You’ll find any theme I highlight in my post on the official Shopify theme store.
OK, let’s dive in. I’ll start with the best themes for clothing stores.
Best themes for clothing stores
For me, there are two Shopify clothing themes that are particularly worthy of your attention.
If you’d like a free option, go with Fabric. It’s part of Shopify’s Horizon collection and it immediately gives you that clean, boutique look — big photography and tidy grid layouts. It’s super fast on mobile too.

If you’ve got a bit of budget, check out Impulse. This costs $400 and gives you access to hero banners, lookbooks and mega menus — all designed to help you promote your collections beautifully.

Best dropshipping themes
With dropshipping themes, speed and scalability are key, and the free Horizon theme is great when it comes to both — it’s built for stores with large or frequently changing inventories, and it connects smoothly with dropshipping tools like DSers and Spocket.

If you’re scaling up though, go for Warehouse. It costs $320 — but for this you get enterprise-level product filtering, trust badges and lightning-fast collection pages.

Best jewelry store themes
If you’re running a jewelry store, your theme needs to showcase craftsmanship and invoke emotions.
The free Ritual theme does both beautifully — it’s sleek, elegant, and works great with high-end photography.

If you want something even more refined, look at the Onyx theme. It comes with dozens of customizable sections, beautiful serif typography and sticky add-to-cart buttons.

Best themes for fashion stores
When it comes to Shopify fashion store themes, for me there are two particularly solid choices. The best free option is Heritage — this features artistic, asymmetric layouts that give you a modern, editorial vibe.

When it comes to paid-for themes, I love Stiletto, a premium design built by Fluorescent Design. This one gives you pure runway energy: cinematic imagery, fit guides, lookbooks — the lot.

Best print-on-demand themes
If you’re selling t-shirts, mugs or posters, the free Spotlight theme is a great starting point — it’s clutter-free and perfect for showcasing simple products.

For a slicker look and feel, Streamline is worth the investment. It costs $400 — for this you get animations, sticky carts, and inline videos.
