Snap Inc. and Automattic — the companies behind Snapchat and WooCommerce respectively — have announced a new integration that allows WooCommerce users to connect their stores directly to Snapchat for Business.
The feature, launched earlier this month, gives small and medium-sized ecommerce brands access to Snapchat’s advertising ecosystem, via tools that aim to let merchants simplify campaign setup, automate catalog syncing, and streamline conversion tracking.
The integration lets WooCommerce merchants link their store to a Snapchat for Business account — and then create dynamic, shoppable ads from within Snapchat Ads Manager.
Once a WooCommerce and Snapchat accounts are linked, product catalogs automatically sync from WooCommerce to Snapchat Ads Manager.
Additionally the integration lets the Snap Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) be deployed in a single click, helping advertisers track performance and optimize campaigns for better return on ad spend.
According to the two companies involved, this integration will enable WooCommerce merchants to access Snapchat’s 932 million active users while keeping campaign management contained within familiar interfaces.
The move follows a broader trend by WooCommerce to integrate more directly with third-party ad platforms and marketing tools. Recent updates have included improved compatibility with the TikTok, Pinterest, and Meta advertising ecosystems.
Why this matters to ecommerce merchants
For WooCommerce store owners, this integration removes much of the friction typically involved in launching and managing paid social campaigns.
By letting merchants sync product data to Snapchat automatically and simplifying conversion tracking, the integration makes Snapchat a more accessible marketing channel — particularly to merchants looking to reach younger, mobile-first shoppers.
